Monica Pelayo is a Spiritual Coach and Counselor who reconnects her clients with their inner wisdom and empowers them with tools to live their dream life. She has attracted clients who seek to reach visionary goals and has mentored them to find fulfillment in their careers, relationships, wellness, and self-love. Being bilingual in English and Spanish she has transcended language barriers to deliver her empowering message of self-love and keeping faith in troubled times.
Her light-hearted sense of humor, gentle spirit, and genuine compassion work in tandem with her hands-on experience and training. She works with clients individually and in her popular group sessions that started in her very own living room. From dealing with the death in the family, to living your purpose,
or even trouble finding love, no challenge is too big to overcome with Monica’s compassionate support and special intuitive guidance.
Monica’s transformative abilities came from “confronting her own demons” during her teenage years. She struggled with depression, an eating disorder and even attempted suicide. Monica knew she needed help and the day a friend gave her a book on spirituality, her life started shifting towards healing. She followed the calling to the United States from her home in Mexico and before long she found profound inspiration from the self-study book A Course in Miracles. Seeing miracles as a shift in perception truly got her back to a place of peace. After that, not a day passed without seeing a miracle!
Her transformation toward hope, self love and empowerment was so impactful – she knew that if she could help one person do the same healing work, she would feel like a successful human being. Little did she know she would impact such a broad audience with her weekly TV appearance on Telemundo and frequent radio interviews! Her notable lectures include, “Say good-bye to fear and give a warm welcome to joy,” on Spanish radio, “How to Lift our Spirit in the Middle of Chaos,” and “How to Attract the Man of your Dreams” on both Telemundo and KVEA Los Angeles.
In addition to personal transformation experiences, Monica has dedicated herself to learning all the best practices to use as she counsels her clients to greatness. She is certified by the Touchstone for Life Coaching Institute and completed the full curriculum for Landmark Education in Los Angeles. She has been a Spiritual Minister since 2004 and a life-long student in A Course in Miracles, a guiding philosophy in her transformational counseling. Her experiences and training have culminated in an ability to ask the same empowering, and vital questions of her clients that she asked of herself.
With past experience moving up the corporate ladder as an International Sales Account Executive with IBM/FileNet, Monica also knows what it takes to achieve goals in a competitive environment. Her engaging spirit repeatedly won her audience and secured her account relationships. A hallmark of Monica’s success lies in her ability to empathize with everyone—across professional, personal, cultural, and linguistic barriers. She guides her clients to similar career success while encouraging them to be accountable for their wellbeing along the way.
Monica has also demonstrated a commitment to healing communities through community leadership. She served on the Board of Directors of MANA, a California- based community-oriented Latina association while she lived in Southern California. She was also honored as a speaker at the A Course In Miracles Conference in Mexico City. Her energetic personality allows her to have open positive discourse with her audiences from California to Spain founded upon humor, compassion, and the deep seated personal wisdom gained through conquering her own personal struggles.
Monica recently moved from Southern California to Spain, where she continues to enjoy her family and live her purpose. She continues to empower her clients by providing them with tangible tools necessary to cultivating the authentic sense of self-value that is necessary to truly achieve success.
